These Terms of Service govern the use of the community, online shopping, and related services provided by iamandy.net (아엠엔디닷넷) through koreanlearn.net.
By registering for an account, using the community, purchasing products, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between iamandy.net (아엠엔디닷넷), hereinafter referred to as the “Company,” and users in connection with the community, online store, and related services provided through koreanlearn.net, hereinafter referred to as the “Service.”
Matters not specifically addressed in these Terms will be governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea and generally accepted commercial practices.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms have the following meanings:
- “Company” means iamandy.net (아엠엔디닷넷), which operates koreanlearn.net and provides the Service.
- “Service” means the website, community, online store, membership functions, content, customer support, and other related services provided through koreanlearn.net.
- “User” means any person who accesses or uses the Service, regardless of whether the person has registered as a Member.
- “Member” means a User who has registered for an account, agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and has been authorized to use the membership functions of the Service.
- “Account” means the identification information, authentication credentials, and associated information created or provided for a Member’s use of the Service.
- “Community” means the part of the Service where Members can create, view, share, comment on, review, or otherwise interact with posts and other content.
- “Content” means posts, comments, reviews, photographs, videos, files, messages, profile information, and other materials submitted, displayed, or transmitted through the Service.
- “Goods” means products, services, digital content, subscriptions, or other items offered for sale through the online store.
- “Order” means a User’s request to purchase Goods through the Service.
- “Seller” means the Company when the Company directly sells Goods through the Service.
- “Payment Service Provider” means a third-party company that processes payments, payment approvals, cancellations, or refunds.
- “Operating Policy” means separate rules, notices, community standards, shopping policies, return policies, and other guidelines established by the Company for the operation of the Service.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
- These Terms become effective when they are posted on koreanlearn.net or otherwise communicated to Users.
- The Company will make these Terms available through the Service so that Users can review them before registering for membership or placing an Order.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
- When the Company amends these Terms, it will provide notice containing the following information:
- The effective date of the amendment
- The reasons for the amendment
- The current provisions
- The amended provisions
- Unless an amendment is urgently required by law or necessary to respond to a security issue, the Company will generally provide notice at least seven days before the effective date.
- If an amendment materially disadvantages Users or significantly affects their rights, the Company will generally provide notice at least 30 days before the effective date.
- The Company may also notify Members of material amendments individually through email, account notifications, or another appropriate method.
- Amendments will not be applied retroactively unless permitted by law or expressly agreed to by the User.
- If a Member does not agree to an amendment, the Member may stop using the Service and withdraw from membership before the amendment becomes effective.
- Any provision of these Terms that conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws will apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Service)
- The Company may provide the following services through koreanlearn.net:
- Membership registration and account management
- Community posts, comments, reviews, and interactions
- Product information and online shopping
- Ordering and payment services
- Product delivery and delivery tracking
- Exchanges, returns, cancellations, and refunds
- Customer inquiries and dispute resolution
- Promotions, events, notices, and related services
- Other services separately determined by the Company
- The Service is generally available 24 hours a day.
- The Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service for the following reasons:
- Inspection, maintenance, replacement, or failure of equipment
- Communication or server failure
- Security threats or unauthorized access
- Changes to business operations
- Changes in law or government policy
- Discontinuation of a third-party service
- Natural disasters or other circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control
- The Company may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service when necessary for operational, technical, security, or legal reasons.
- Where reasonably possible, the Company will provide advance notice of a material modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
- If advance notice is not reasonably possible because of an emergency, security incident, or technical failure, the Company may provide notice afterward.
- If a paid Service is discontinued, the Company will provide a refund, replacement, or other remedy as required by applicable law and the relevant purchase conditions.
Article 5 (Obligations of Members)
- Members must provide truthful, accurate, and current information when registering for membership, placing an Order, requesting delivery, or contacting the Company.
- Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Members must not allow another person to use their account without authorization.
- Members must promptly update their account, contact, and delivery information when it changes.
- Members must not engage in any of the following conduct:
- Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information
- Impersonating another person or organization
- Using another person’s personal information without authorization
- Using another person’s payment method without permission
- Uploading illegal, fraudulent, obscene, defamatory, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory Content
- Infringing copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights
- Posting spam, advertisements, malicious links, or repetitive Content without authorization
- Harassing, stalking, threatening, deceiving, or defrauding another User
- Posting false product reviews or manipulating reviews, ratings, views, or search results
- Making false Orders or intentionally refusing delivery
- Abusing pricing errors, coupons, points, rewards, promotions, or system errors
- Introducing malware, harmful scripts, bots, automated programs, or other harmful technology
- Interfering with the normal operation, security, or availability of the Service
- Collecting another User’s personal information without lawful authority
- Copying, reselling, or commercially exploiting the Service without authorization
- Engaging in conduct that violates applicable law, these Terms, or the Operating Policy
- Members are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts unless the activity results from the Company’s fault.
- Members must promptly notify the Company if they become aware of unauthorized account use, fraudulent payment, or a security incident.
Article 6 (Membership Registration and Account Management)
- A User may apply for membership by providing the required information and agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- The Company may reject or delay a membership application in any of the following circumstances:
- The information provided is false, incomplete, or misleading
- The applicant uses another person’s identity or information
- The applicant previously lost membership because of a serious violation
- Registration would violate applicable law
- Registration cannot be completed because of technical or operational limitations
- The application is made for fraudulent or abusive purposes
- Members must manage their accounts securely and must not transfer, lend, sell, or share their accounts with another person.
- A Member may withdraw from membership through the account settings or by contacting the Company.
- Membership withdrawal does not automatically cancel an Order that has already been placed.
- Membership withdrawal does not eliminate payment, delivery, return, refund, dispute, or legal obligations that arose before withdrawal.
- Community posts and comments may not be automatically deleted when a Member withdraws.
- Members should delete their Content before withdrawing or submit a separate deletion request to the Company.
- The Company may retain information required for transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Article 7 (Product Information and Orders)
- The Company will provide information reasonably necessary for Users to make informed purchasing decisions, including:
- Product name and description
- Product price
- Taxes and additional charges, where applicable
- Payment methods
- Delivery methods and expected delivery period
- Shipping charges
- Exchange, return, and refund conditions
- Warranty or after-sales service information
- Seller and business information
- A purchase agreement is generally formed when all of the following conditions are satisfied:
- The User submits an Order
- Payment is successfully completed or authorized
- The Company accepts the Order or sends an Order confirmation
- The Company may reject or cancel an Order in any of the following circumstances:
- The Goods are out of stock or discontinued
- The displayed price or product information contains a clear error
- Payment cannot be verified
- Fraudulent or unauthorized payment is suspected
- The Order violates purchase limits or promotional conditions
- Delivery is not reasonably possible
- The Order violates applicable law
- The Order appears to have been made for resale, abuse, or another improper purpose
- If the Company cannot fulfill an accepted Order, it will notify the User and process a refund or provide another appropriate remedy without undue delay.
- Users must review the product information, quantity, price, delivery address, and payment details before confirming an Order.
Article 8 (Payment and Delivery)
- Users may pay using the payment methods offered through the Service.
- Payments may be processed by an external Payment Service Provider.
- The use of an external Payment Service Provider may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
- The Company may request reasonable verification where necessary to prevent fraud or unauthorized payments.
- The Company will arrange delivery within the period displayed on the product page or otherwise agreed with the User.
- Delivery may be delayed because of:
- Product availability
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Courier circumstances
- Customs procedures
- Natural disasters
- Other circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control
- Users are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address and contact information.
- Additional costs resulting from an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, or unjustified refusal of delivery may be charged to the User to the extent permitted by law.
- The risk of loss or damage to Goods will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the agreed delivery conditions.
Article 9 (Cancellation, Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds)
- A consumer may generally cancel an Order or withdraw from a purchase within seven days from the date the consumer receives the written contract information or the Goods, whichever occurs later, unless an exception permitted by law applies.
If the Goods are different from their description, advertisement, or agreed conditions, the consumer may request cancellation, return, exchange, or another lawful remedy within:
- Three months from the date the Goods were supplied; or
- Thirty days from the date the consumer knew or reasonably could have known about the difference,
whichever applicable period permits the request.
- A return, exchange, or cancellation may be restricted where permitted by law, including where:
- The Goods were damaged because of the consumer’s fault
- The value of the Goods materially decreased because of use or partial consumption
- The value of the Goods materially decreased because too much time passed for resale
- The packaging of reproducible Goods was damaged
- Digital content or a service began with the consumer’s prior consent after the consumer was informed that the right of withdrawal may be restricted
- The Goods were custom-made to the consumer’s specifications and lawful prior notice and consent were provided
- Return shipping costs caused by a simple change of mind may be borne by the consumer.
- The Company will bear reasonable return shipping costs where the Goods are defective, damaged, incorrectly delivered, or inconsistent with the purchase agreement.
- Refunds will be processed without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law after the Goods are returned or a lawful cancellation request is received.
- The actual time required for a refund to appear may vary depending on the Payment Service Provider, bank, or financial institution.
- Detailed return procedures, return addresses, shipping charges, and product-specific restrictions may be displayed on the relevant product page or return policy.
- Nothing in this Article limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.
Article 10 (Community Content)
- Members retain ownership of Content they create, except for rights separately granted to the Company under these Terms.
- By submitting Content through the Service, the Member grants the Company a non-exclusive and royalty-free license to store, reproduce, display, transmit, format, and technically modify the Content to the extent necessary to:
- Operate and provide the Service
- Display Content to other Users
- Create thumbnails or adjust file formats
- Back up and secure the Service
- Display or promote the relevant Community post through koreanlearn.net or the Company’s official channels
- The license granted under Paragraph 2 does not permit the Company to sell a Member’s Content independently as a separate product without additional permission.
- Members must possess all necessary rights and permissions for the Content they submit.
- The Company may restrict, hide, move, or remove Content that:
- Violates applicable law
- Infringes another person’s rights
- Contains fraud, spam, malware, or harmful links
- Violates these Terms or the Operating Policy
- Materially interferes with Community safety or normal Service operation
- Is subject to a lawful removal request
- Contains unauthorized advertisements or commercial promotions
- Contains personal information posted without lawful authority
- The Company may preserve removed Content or related records where necessary for legal compliance, investigation, dispute resolution, or protection of Users.
- A person who believes that Content infringes their rights may submit a report containing sufficient information for the Company to review the claim.
Article 11 (Intellectual Property Rights)
- The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, databases, and Company-created materials, is owned by or licensed to the Company.
- Users may use the Service only for personal and lawful purposes unless the Company provides separate written permission.
- Users must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit the Service or Company-owned Content without authorization.
- Product names, company names, trademarks, and Content belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
- Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Company’s intellectual property to a User.
Article 12 (Restriction and Termination of Use)
- The Company may take one or more of the following actions where a Member violates these Terms, applicable law, or the Operating Policy:
- Issue a warning
- Remove or restrict Content
- Restrict certain Service functions
- Suspend the Member’s account
- Cancel improperly obtained benefits
- Cancel fraudulent Orders
- Terminate membership
- In determining an appropriate measure, the Company may consider:
- The seriousness and frequency of the violation
- Whether the violation was intentional
- Harm caused to other Users or the Company
- The Member’s previous violation history
- The need to prevent additional harm
- Where reasonably possible, the Company will inform the Member of the reason for the restriction and provide an opportunity to submit an explanation or appeal.
- The Company may take immediate action without prior notice where necessary to prevent:
- Fraud
- Serious harm
- Illegal conduct
- Security threats
- Destruction of evidence
- Further damage to Users or the Service
- Termination of membership does not eliminate obligations relating to outstanding payments, completed transactions, disputes, damages, or applicable legal requirements.
Article 13 (Responsibilities of the Company and Limitation of Liability)
- The Company will make reasonable efforts to provide the Service safely and continuously and to comply with applicable laws.
- The Company will maintain appropriate security measures for personal information and payment-related information under its control.
- The Company is not responsible for interruption, delay, or damage resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- War or civil disturbance
- Telecommunications failure
- External platform or payment service failure
- Unavoidable maintenance
- Government action
- Cyberattacks that could not reasonably have been prevented
- The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, legality, or quality of Content submitted by Users.
- Users are responsible for evaluating information obtained through the Community before relying on it.
- The Company is not responsible for disputes arising solely between Users unless the Company caused or contributed to the dispute through intentional misconduct or negligence.
- The Company is not responsible for damage caused by a User’s failure to protect account information or update contact and delivery information.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability resulting from the Company’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
- Any disclaimer or limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Article 14 (Personal Information)
- The Company processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
- The Privacy Policy is separately available through koreanlearn.net.
- The Company may use third-party providers for payment processing, product delivery, hosting, communications, security, and other operational functions as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Users must not collect, disclose, sell, distribute, or misuse another User’s personal information without lawful authority.
- Users should avoid posting unnecessary personal information in Community posts, comments, reviews, or uploaded files.
Article 15 (Notices)
- The Company may provide notices through one or more of the following methods:
- Website announcements
- Account notifications
- Email
- Text messages
- Other contact methods provided by the Member
- Notices applying to all Users may be posted through koreanlearn.net for a reasonable period instead of being sent individually, unless individual notice is required by law.
- Members are responsible for keeping their contact information current.
- The Company is not responsible for a Member’s failure to receive a notice because the Member provided incorrect information or failed to update their contact details, unless otherwise required by law.
Article 16 (Promotions, Coupons, Points, and Rewards)
- The Company may provide coupons, points, credits, promotional prices, rewards, or other benefits under separately announced conditions.
- Promotional benefits:
- May have an expiration date
- May be limited to certain Members, products, regions, or periods
- May not be transferred or exchanged for cash unless required by law
- May be canceled if obtained through fraud, system error, abuse, or violation of promotional conditions
- The Company will not unfairly remove a valid paid benefit already acquired by a User.
- Detailed conditions for each promotion will be displayed when the promotion is offered.
- Benefits obtained through fraudulent or abusive conduct may be canceled, and the relevant account may be restricted.
Article 17 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- The Company and the User will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through good-faith consultation.
- Consumers may request assistance from a consumer dispute resolution, mediation, or privacy protection organization where available.
- Any legal action will be submitted to the court having jurisdiction under the applicable Civil Procedure Act or other mandatory law.
- Nothing in these Terms restricts a consumer’s right to bring a claim before a court or authority that has mandatory jurisdiction under applicable law.
Supplementary Provisions
- These Terms take effect on August 6, 2026.
- Previous terms, if any, will be replaced by these Terms from the Effective Date.
- Matters not specified in these Terms will be governed by applicable laws, the Privacy Policy, the Operating Policy, and generally accepted commercial practices.
